Global Series Round 1 Track Guide!

As the MotoGP™ eSport Championship enters its critical phase, here is a brief preview of each track in the first round of the 2025 Global Series.

The first round of the 2025 MotoGP™ eSport’s Global Series gets underway this week on Friday 19th September. The tension is building!

Eleven gamers representing one of MotoGP™’s current teams will go head-to-head over three rounds to determine the winner of this year’s series.

And to mirror the current MotoGP™ format, gamers will compete in a Sprint race during each round (held over half race distance), as well as two longer-length races.

The Pertamina Mandalika Circuit in Indonesia is the venue for the first Sprint of this year’s Global Series, before the Mobiltiy Resort Motegi in Japan and Australia’s Phillip Island host race one and two respectively.

To build up the excitement to the first Global Series round of 2024, here are guides for all three circuits in Round 1.

Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto

Spread across 2.75 miles of glorious, flowing asphalt, Jerez offers a tremendous test of machine balance and riding ability, with lush, fast curves punctuated by a number of heavy braking zones and slow hairpins.

The layout always provides drama: the final turn (the Jorge Lorenzo corner) has been the scene of incredible last lap drama. The 1996, 2005 and 2013 MotoGP races concluded there in memorable, dramatic fashion.

Silverstone Circuit

With 75 years of history and one of the fastest tracks on the MotoGP calendar, Silverstone has become one of the most prestigious venues dedicated to
motorsport. A world-class venue providing adrenaline-fuelled racing and breath-taking moments, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone provides the ultimate
family festival weekend complete with main stage headliners and entertainment.

Silverstone has produced some of the best MotoGP™ races of all time, including Kenny Roberts Senior’s battle with Barry Sheene in 1979, as well as Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez’s duel in 2013.

Circuit of the Americas

In 2013, the impressive new Hermann Tilke-designed 5.513 km Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, joined the MotoGP™ calendar and become an instant hit - with its cutting-edge facilities and a capacity for 120,000 fans.

One of its more distinctive features is near 41m-elevation change with an impressive incline at the end of the home-straight followed by a sharp left. The circuit is one of the most varied on the GP circuit, with a mix of fast straights and tight hairpins, with most sections mirroring at least some part of a famous track around the world.
