After two years off from official competitions, the five time Global Series finalist is back. Davide Gallina, known in the eSport world as “ilgallinadavii” make his return for 2025 season.
His career started in 2018, thanks to its qualities combined with professional support of Pro2Be eSports he achieved a magnificent 4th place in the second Semi-Final in Madrid; that result gave him the possibility to participate at the Grand Finale in Valencia. He has been a constant presence in the history of eSports with 3 participations in the World Championship.
He qualified for the 2023 Pro Draft, but did not participate in the championship for various commitments. During these years his focus was totally on professional career, participating in a specialisation course to be a press officer and journalist in the field of motorsport, and not only. His passion for the MotoGP environment, he brought him to manage the social media of a big windscreen agency who supplies the MotoGP teams, so was not so easy to always ensure a good level of competitiveness. Actually he is working as Press Officer and SMM with two teams in the Italian Speed Championship (CIV), with some experiences in the SBK World Championship and FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship.
He never stopped playing, trying to stay trained in case of a possible return. His passion for the motorsport, the desire to try once again to compete in the eSport has always been there, also the desire to get the long-awaited podium and the first victory. These reasons combined with good feelings on MotoGP25 and a favourable calendar far from work commitments, were the elements that led him to come back and say: why not?
