Challenge #2 is underway! Sachsenring awaits – are you ready?

Running from the 25th to 29th of July, like with all challenges this season, you will jump straight into racing in the premier class: MotoGP™.

The second instalment for the 2018 MotoGP™ eSport Championship sees action continuing, but unlike the fast-and-flowing Circuit of the Americas for the first challenge, players will this time be aiming to be the fastest around Germany’s tight and twisty Sachsenring on-board Bradley Smith’s Red Bull KTM RC16.

Running from the 25th to 29th of July, like with all challenges this season, you will jump straight into racing in the premier class: MotoGP™.

Almost all options are pre-determined and only the fastest lap will be recorded, no matter how many times the ‘Time Attack’ session is completed over the course of the Challenge period. Simulation will be set to 'Pro', and a host of MotoGP18™ riding aids are switched OFF including auto braking, joint brakes, steering aids and automatic tuck-in. Ideal trajectory and rewind will also be unavailable during time-trials in the premier-class, and riders can also modify their bike’s setup in order to extract the maximum performance.

Tyre wear is switched off and players will use the Soft compound tyres, meaning they will be able to set as many laps as they wish during the session, without tyre life being a factor. The quickest three players from each platform (Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC) will progress through to Semi Final 1, held live and on-site at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli at the MotoGP™ event in September.
