The MotoGP™ eSport Global Series is set for a thrilling finale as three of the main title contenders scored a pole position each for the year’s last three races.
danielealoè26 claimed pole for the thirrd Global Series Sprint of the year, while 2025 surprise package PieroRicciuti55 took pole for Race 1 and series leader davideturrisi06 qualified first for Race 2.
The Global Series returns for its third and final round, which will be held live and in person at Milan Games Week in late November, where the the stunning Italian city will be the scene of the crowning of this year’s MotoGP™ eSport Champion!
Just like 2024, gamers will compete in a Sprint race, as well as two longer-length races in each round.
davideturrisi06, representing Aprilia Racing in this year’s 3-round series, took two victories in Round 1 and 2 apiece to enter the final round with a 29-point advantage. But with double points on offer for 2025’s final three races, that can disappear in a flash! Jack Hammer4658 (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), danielealoè26 (Ducati Lenovo Team) and PieroRicciuti55 (LCR Honda), are all very much in touch.
Round 3 will offer up plenty of challenges to the 11 entrants. The Sprint will take place at the undulating Motorland Aragon Circuit before the historic Le Mans Circuit in France hosts Race 1. And Italy’s breathtaking Autódromo Internazionale del Mugello is the scene of Race 2.
Qualifying for the Sprint couldn’t be closer with 0.1s covering the top five gamers! danielealoè26 claimed pole from davideturrisi06 and PieroRicciuti55. Roles were then reversed for Race 1 as PieroRicciuti55 took pole in wet conditions, with danielealoè26 and 26_adriaan close behind. davideturrisi06 was back in fifth. But the current series leader made amends in the final qualifying of the year, as he claimed pole ahead of Cristianmm17 and danielealoè26.
It’s all set up for a stunning show this Friday, when presenters Connor Doherty and Chris Jordan will host the third show of the year in which will begin with highlights of qualifying before the 11 riders take on three race tracks that will pit the finalists’ skills to the test.
