The times are in! Who was fastest in the first Online Challenge?

The first Online Challenge of the 2023 MotoGP™ eSport Championship is over – let’s see who was fastest!

The 2023 MotoGP™ eSport Championship is in full flow! The first Online Challenge of this year’s Pro Draft saw gamers from around the world take on the historic TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands aboard Pecco Bagnaia’s Lenovo Ducati Desmosedici GP23.

And after five days of intense competition, look and see how gamers from Europe and the Rest of the World fared as they challenged to set the fastest time possible in time-attack mode.

When competing in each Online Challenge, gamers will be classified in one of two categories: those from Europe and those from the Rest of the World. The gamers setting the fastest times will be awarded points.

Of the thousands of attempts posted last weekend, it was reigning MotoGP™ eSport Champion 26_adriaan who set the quickest time of 1’26:824 in the European category on the PC. Jack Hammer4658 was the fastest gamer using the Xbox with a time of 1’26:921 and and trast73 was the quickest using the Playstation, with a 1’27:054.

In the Rest of the World category, it was Humberto Maier who was fastest with a time of 1’27:190 using the Playstation. As well as being a super-fast gamer, the Brazilian just happens to be competing in this year’s World Supersport 300 class! Indonesian Andi Aul94 (1’27:329) was the fastest using the PC, while Malaysian gamer Eiky (1’28:056) was the quickest using the Xbox.

At the end of the third and final Online Challenge the 16 gamers with the most points in the European classification, the five from the Rest of the World classification, and the winner of last year’s Rising Stars Series will make up the names that qualify for the Draft Selection with 11 of those guaranteed a spot in the Global Series!

The first Online Challenge may be finished, but the second gets underway this week, starting on Wednesday 5th July! If you haven’t already registered, don't miss the opportunity to be part of this year’s MotoGP™ eSport Championship. You can register now here!
