Four Online Challenges gave gamers from around the world a chance to stake their claim to enter the MotoGP™ eSport Draft Selection. Find out who they are!

After four weeks of intense competition, the results are in! Four Online Challenges put the varied skillsets of MotoGP™ eSport hopefuls to the test, and 24 names have made it through to the next round.

A total of 16 names from the European ranking plus 8 from the Rest of the World category (as well as the three winners from last year’s Rising Stars Series) have qualified for the Pro Draft Selection, which determines which rider will compete for which MotoGP™ team in the Global Series.

Overall, this year’s Online Challenges showed a host of experienced names from previous years, as well as a host of new, young challengers, keen to upset the status quo.

If the Pro Draft is anything to go by then PieroRicciuti55_ will enter the Global Series as one of the favourites to lift the crown after finishing last year in second place and topping this season the European Online Challenge standings. The young hopeful scored an impressive 100 points from a possible 100. The same could be said of for the 2019 World Champion AndrewZh, who placed second overall with 91 points. Then came the 2021 Global Series Finalist Jack Hammer4658 with 86 points.

Former Global Series contenders didn’t disappoint as Cristianmm17 finished 6th, Trast73 - 7th, Joel_Clay - 13th, Davidegallina23 - 14th and DarkBright94 - 15th.

With regards to the Rest of the World standings, MrTftw dominated proceedings by scoring maximum points from the available haul, taking 25 apiece in each of the four challenges.

As the first stage of the 2022 MotoGP™ eSport Championship has drawn to a close, the next one – the Draft Selection – begins. With 27 names to draw from, the twelve MotoGP™ teams will now preside over their options before choosing their contender.
