The second half of the MotoGP™ eSport Championship saw gamers back in racing action as Challenge 5 kicked off proceedings from the 12th to 16th September. Jack Miller’s Alma Pramac Ducati GP17 was the weapon of choice, around his native Phillip Island circuit in Australia.
The circuit is full of unique challenges and is very much fast-and-flowing over a near 90-second lap, which is comprised of quick corners and an undulating character. A favourite amongst riders and fans, it has produced incredible on-track action with races often going down to the final lap.
As with the first four challenges, we will take the quickest competitor from each platform (Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC), making three in total.
The quickest times for Challenge #5 are as follows:
TRASTEVERE7358 on PC: 1:21.474
RICK_MOTOGP_35 on PS4: 1:21.552
XXBOMBER_45XX on XBOX: 1:21.662
12 players in total will progress to Semi Final 2 in October, held at the Movistar eSports Center in Madrid. The quickest six from the event will join our other competitors who progressed from Semi Final 1 in the Grand Final in November.
