Online Challenge #7 sees our only event to be held in wet conditions, with the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia being the venue and Johann Zarco’s Monster Yamaha Tech 3 YZR-M1 the weapon of choice. Running from the 26th to the 30th September, players will aim to be quickest on the three gaming platforms in order to secure a place in Semi Final 2.
As with all challenges, you will have full ability to modify the bike’s setup, meaning adapting setup of the motorcycle could give you an extra advantage – something that may prove to be very beneficial for your lap times.
In order to make the challenge as thrilling as possible, simulation settings are set to Pro and other riding aids on MotoGP18™ such as auto braking, joint brakes, steering aids and automated tuck-in are disabled. Soft compound tyres are available, although tyre wear is switched off, meaning you can set as many laps as you like without running out of grip!
The top three players on Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will move forward to Semi Final 2, which takes place live and on-location at the the Movistar eSports Center in Madrid on 30th October.
