Valencia awaits the top six gamers from Semi-Final 1, decided at Misano, and the top six from Semi-Final 2, duked out in Madrid, but only one can be crowned the 2018 MotoGP™ eSports World Champion.
Based on the results from Semi-Final 1 and 2, the gamers have made their choice of which team to ride with, heading into the Grand Final.
CRISTIANMM17 was the fastest gamer in Semi-Final 1, riding on the satellite Ducati with the Angel Nieto team. Regardless, he has opted to ride aboard the Honda RC213V, with the factory Repsol Honda team, in the Grand Final.
Second to make his choice was the 2017 MotoGP™ eSport Champion, TRASTEVERE7, who will be racing with the Ducati Desmosedici GP18, with the factory team. The reigning Champion was the fastest rider in Semi-Final 2 – 1.4 seconds adrift – aboard the Ducati machine.
ANDREWZH and PAUL_IG7 have both opted to race in the Grand Final with a Yamaha M1, despite both playing on the Honda in the Semi-Finals. ANDREWZH will ride with the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team, whilst PAUL_IG7 with satellite Monster Yamaha Tech 3.
LUIGI48GP, who finished third in Semi-Final 1 on the KTM, will be the only man in the Grand Final to be playing with the RSV4 FW-GP, with Aprilia Racing Team Gresini. XXBOMBER_45XX, meanwhile, will be the sole Suzuki Ecstar rider, after finishing third in Semi-Final 2 on board the RC213V.
Fourth place qualifiers TIMOTHYMCGARDEN61 will be aiming for glory on KTM’s RC16, with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, whilst DAVIDEGALLINA23 will be racing with the satellite Desmosedici in the Angelo Nieto Team.
ADRIAAN_26, who took fifth with Suzuki in Semi-Final 1, will also be racing with a Desmosedici in the Alma Pramac team. VINDEX813 will be aboard a RC213V in the LCR Honda garage.
ELEGHOST555 finished Semi-Final 1 in sixth on a Yamaha M1, but has opted to ride with Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS on a satellite Honda machine. And rounding off our Grand Final grid is RLLORCA26, on a Ducati Desmosedici, riding with Reale Avintia Racing.
