Get ready for a test with a difference! The MotoGP™ eSport Championship is back for a 9th season and there is an interactive flavour to kick things off: fans can decide on the track at which the first Online Challenge is based, as well as the rider that will be used!
The very first Online Challenge of this season’s Pro Draft kicks off this month. As of yet the track and rider with which gamers will post their times are undecided.
As fans of the MotoGP™ eSport Championship must decide which circuit and rider will be designated for Online Challenge #1. Over the course of the next week there will be votes in which fans choose one track and one rider on the MotoGP™ eSport social media channels.
There is a choice for four current MotoGP™ venues: The Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Thailand’s Chang International Circuit, Indonesia’s Pertamina Mandalika Circuit or Australia’s legendary Phillip Island.
And the riders will be either: Ai Ogura and the Trackhouse Aprilia; Johann Zarco and the LCR Honda; Fabio Di Giannantonio and the VR46 Ducati; or Jack Miller and the Pramac Yamaha.
The most popular venue and rider from the two votes will then determine the nature of the first Online Challenge.
Check the progress of the votes on the MotoGP™ eSport Championship on motogp.com and esport.motogp.com, on selected TV broadcasters, and get your votes in across social media platforms including YouTube (via the MotoGP™ and MotoGP™ eSport channels), MotoGP™ eSport Twitter, Instagram, Facebook (via MotoGP™ and MotoGP™ eSport pages) and Twitch via MotoGP™ and MotoGP™ eSport.
Now it’s time to get voting. As a place in the Global Series could be on the line!
