It’s time to make the difference as the prestigious MotoGP™ eSport Championship continues with the Pro Draft of the 2024 series. And the second Online Challenge, which starts at 11am CET on Wednesday 4th September, is upon us.
Back for an eighth successive year, the MotoGP™ eSport Championship will see a selection of the fastest gamers on the planet compete together in the Global Series. But before then they must progress through the Pro Draft, a series of three time-attacks in the form of Online Challenges.
The second of these will take place where the crucial upcoming MotoGP™ event will happen: the highly technical Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. And this week, gamers must post the fastest lap possible using the crème de la crème of MotoGP™ machinery: Pecco Bagnaia’s Lenovo Ducati Desmosedici GP24.
This will be a time-attack challenge, meaning only the fastest lap will be recorded. Unlimited attempts are allowed. Gamers will have five days to set their personal best times as the first Online Challenge closes at 7pm on Sunday 8th September.
Points will be awarded for setting the fastest times in each Online Challenge. Like the points scoring system in the MotoGP™ World Championship, the fastest gamer will gain 25 points, the second 20 points, the third 16 and so on. Classifications will be separated in two: for those hailing from Europe, and those from the Rest of the World.
The goal is to catch the eye of a current MotoGP™ team during the Pro Draft with your speed, consistency and race craft to secure a place with one of them in the Global Series!
