NOTIFICATION OF SANCTION
Motive:
After the races in the Global Series Round 1, the following incidents were placed under investigation and reviewed post-race:
- A collision between #26 Adriaan_26, #4 Sbadalongo and #6 Davideturrisi06, which caused #4 Sbadalongo to crash.
- A collision between #26 Adriaan_26 and #29 Flavio Baldacci which caused #29 Flavio Baldacci to crash.
This contravenes the specific instructions given to MotoGP™ eSport Championship competitors and is considered irresponsible riding.
It is therefore an infringement of Article 6 of the MotoGP™ eSport Championship’s Terms of Participation.
Sanction and explanation:
For the above reasons, the MotoGP™ eSport Championship’s stewards have imposed a 1-place grid penalty on #26 Adriaan_26, which is to be served in the Race 3: Malaysia Petronas Sepang International Circuit.
The actions of these two collisions are considered to have disrupted the session, the other riders and to have culminated in two crashes.
