Save the date! The first Rising Stars Regional Final is here!

The Americas Regional Final will see ten young gaming hopefuls compete for a place in the 2022 MotoGP™ eSport Global Series!

Back for a second season, the Rising Stars Series is gearing up for the Regional Finals that will determine who gets a shot at the 2022 MotoGP™ eSport Championship Global Series.

First started in 2020, this talent-spotting programme required young hopefuls around the world to tackle four Online Challenges in which Gamers are divided into three categories, depending on their location. These three are the Americas, Europe and Africa, and finally Asia and Oceania.

The stakes in the Regional Finals couldn’t be higher, with the winner in each category (receiving a guaranteed place in the MotoGP™ eSport Pro Draft Selection in 2022.

First up is the final for the Americas, which takes place on Wednesday 6th October at 18.00 (GMT -4), 00.00 (GMT+2). The ten finalists will take on the demanding Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The eight-lap race around the long, technical track will decide which competitor prevails to win this final.

Four countries are represented among the ten hopefuls that will face off on Wednesday, including the USA, Brasil, Chile and Canada.

Brazilian XxBastoner92xX will surely start the Americas heat as favourite after scoring the maximum 100 points in the Online Challenges. He will line up for Monster Energy Yamaha Racing. He will likely face stiff competition from the American macargo1, who scored 70 points from 100 in the Online Challenges, earning him a seat at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. The Chilean SUPERMASIA will also be a contender aboard the Avintia Esponsorama.

Flanker-SNS aka [BRR]S.Nunes will also be representing Brazil for Petronas SRT Yamaha, with American nurb running LCR Honda Castrol eSports Team colours. XXBARBO76XX aka barbo76 is the third Brazilian in this Regional Final. He will be riding for Ducati Lenovo eSports Team. The USA’s MrHiTstick05 will line up for Suzuki Ecstar eSports tema, with the American Rokko representing Aprilia. Canada’s (N.S) snappylnuts could be an outside bet for success with Yahoo Pramac Racing, as could TwoPlainJane, Tech 3 KTM’s entry.
