2023 Rising Stars Series: No More changes. Just one last shot!

The conclusion of the Rising Stars Series comes this week with the Online Final starting on November 3rd at 16.00 (GMT+1). Who will get the golden ticket for 2024?

The MotoGP™ eSport Rising Stars Series will be decided this week with nine up and coming gamers set to dispute the Online Final this Friday November 3rd at 16.00 (GMT+1)!

After three Online Regional Challenges, where results were separated by three World Regions (the Americas, Europe and Africa, Asia and Oceania), the top three gamers per region (nine in total) have qualified for the Online Final, which will decide this year’s Rising Stars Series Champion!

The prize for victory in Friday’s finale is a guaranteed a slot in the 2024 MotoGP™ eSport Pro Draft, the phase where the current MotoGP™ teams select the gamer to represent them in the Global Series. A path to future MotoGP™ eSport glory could be waiting for Friday’s victor.

The big change for the Rising Stars Series in 2023 is all Online Challenges and the Online Final will be disputed using MotoE™ machines. After the 2023 MotoE™ World Championship concluded in dramatic fashion in September at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, gamers will once again use Ducati’s visionary V21L electric machine to compete at the same track.

As witnessed in the MotoGP™ eSport Global Series, each finalist will compete for one of the World Championship teams, adding extra prestige to the event.

Aimed at finding and fostering fresh eSport talent around the world, the Rising Stars Series mirrors Road to MotoGP™ initiatives out on track such as the Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup, the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup and more, as it aims to promote young talent towards the very top of the MotoGP™ eSport Championship.

From the three names to qualify from the European category, Italians Flavio Baldacci (HP Pons Los40) and Davidegallina23 (Prettl Pramac MotoE™) will be among the favourites for outright victory, while the German K7nnyyy (Tech3 E-Racing) also posted some impressive times in Online Regional Challenges.

Those that qualified through the Asia and Oceania category include the Indonesian DipoAkbar12, who competes for Felo Gresini MotoE™, as well as the Malaysian duo sky_hadif (RNF MotoE™ Team) and Khairi Haziq (LCR E-Team), who have proven themselves to be rapid over single flying laps.

And the Americas have also produced three potential podium contenders. The Brazilian XxBastoner92xX will compete for Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE™. And the Argentineans BrunoA93 (Ongetta SIC58 Squadracorse) and Nanchy (Openbank Aspar Team) also have a shot at glory if their Regional Online Challenges are to be believed.
