The renowned MotoGP™ eSport Championship bursts into life this week, with gamers from all over the world taking part in the first Online Challenge of the Pro Draft, which starts at 11am CET on Wednesday 20th August.
Back for a ninth successive year, the MotoGP™ eSport Championship will be decided by eleven of the world’s fastest gamers competing in the Global Series. But before then they must progress through the Pro Draft, a series of four time-attacks in the form of Online Challenges.
The fourth Online Challenge of 2025 mirrors current events in the MotoGP™ World Championship! As riders prepare to face a brand-new track at the Balaton Ring in MotoGP™’s first visit to Hungary since 1992, the fourth Online Challenge of 2025 will take place at the same venue.
And gamers will be taking current runaway leader Marc Marquez’s Ducati Desmosedici GP25 around the anti-clockwise layout to set the fastest time possible.
This will be a time-attack challenge, meaning only the fastest lap will be recorded. Unlimited attempts are allowed. Gamers will have five days to set their personal best times as the fourth Online Challenge closes at 7pm on Sunday 24th August.
Points will be awarded for setting the fastest times in each Online Challenge. Like the points scoring system in the MotoGP™ World Championship, the fastest gamer will gain 25 points, the second 20 points, the third 16 and so on.
The goal is to catch the eye of a current MotoGP™ team during the Pro Draft with your speed, consistency and race craft to secure a place with one of them in the Global Series!
