The 2024 MotoGP™ eSport finale has just been given a further injection of excitement. As well as guaranteed red-hot competition (just 28 points cover the first four contenders) and an exciting venue (Milan Games Week), the third and final round of the Global Series will have a very special guest: Max Biaggi!
Instead, it’s the six-time World Champion, 13-time MotoGP™ race winner, and MotoGP™ Legend, who was one of the leading names in motorcycle sport in the 90s and 2000s.
As well as racking up four World Championships in the 250cc from 1994-1998, Biaggi was a leading contender in the MotoGP™ World Championship for eight years, finishing inside the championship top three on six occasions.
He then went on to enjoy great success in the World Superbike Championship, which he won outright in 2010 and 2012, successes which further cemented his legend.
At the MotoGP™ eSport Global Series final on 22nd November, Biaggi will be on hand to offer his thoughts on all the action while commentating alongside Liam Hodgins and Connor Doherty, as well as presenting the prizes to the victorious gamers once the races are completed.
It’s just one of many reasons to tune into the event, with fans able to watch all the action on motogp.com and esport.motogp.com, on selected TV broadcasters, and across social media platforms including YouTube (via MotoGP™ eSport), MotoGP™ eSport Twitter, Instagram, Facebook (via MotoGP™ and MotoGP™ eSport pages) and Twitch via MotoGP™ eSport.
As well as the dramatic final, there will be a space in the Fan Zone of the festival where many items of MotoGP™ memorabilia will be present to delight the fans in attendance. MotoGP will have a spectacular 200m2 stand where fans will be able to get up close and personal with the best MotoGP™ bikes, the MotoGP™ safety car and much more. We will also have consoles and simulators for fans to feel like a rider playing MotoGP24!
Who will become the 2024 MotoGP™ eSport Champion? Tune in on 22nd November at 16:00 (UTC +1) to watch the final live!
