How does it work?
There will be a Draft Pool available from which MotoGP™ teams will select their MotoGP™ eSports riders. 22 gamers will be available in this pool for the teams to select their representant.

Each MotoGP™ team have the chance to pick one official MotoGP™ eSport rider and one substitute rider during the Draft Pick time window.

How long does this window last?
Teams and gamers have twelve days to come to an agreement. The window in which this happens will take place from the 6th April to the 17th April.

What happens once a team chooses its gamer?
It is then up to that MotoGP™ team and the relevant gamer to agree a contract with the possibility of representing that team in the MotoGP™ eSports Championship. Teams and gamers are wholly responsible for negotiating, agreeing and documenting any contracts.

What happens if a rider isn’t selected by a MotoGP™ team?
In case this happens at the end of the Draft Pick window, series organizer Dorna will assign one gamer to the relevant team depending upon their finishing positions (taking into consideration that eight gamers from Europe and three from the Rest of the World must be part of the 2020 MotoGP™ eSports grid.

In what instance would the Reserve Rider be called upon?
Only if a MotoGP™ eSport official gamer is unable to participate in the 2020 MotoGP™ eSport Championship (for reasons including withdrawal, disqualification or medical issues), their respective MotoGP™ team can replace them with its Reserve gamer.
