A new contender joins the Global Series from Round 3!

The talented U-Mastru21 steps takes over from DarkBright for the final three rounds of the 2022 Global Series.

With the third round of the 2022 MotoGP™ eSport Global Series just days away, there has been a change to the line-up of the twelve finalists taking part.

Italian U-Mastru21 steps up to the Tech3 KTM Factory Racing team for the remaining three rounds of the 2022 Global Series. The 33-year old (real name Ivan Presti) has form at the top levels of eSport competition, racing in last season’s Rising Stars Series European final, where he finished fifth.

U-Mastru21 will take the place of DarkBright, who is stepping away from the series for the rest of this year. DarkBright had enjoyed a solid start to the Global Series, finishing ninth and tenth at the previous round. After four races, he sat tenth in the championship standings.

So watch out for U-Mastru21 that will compete with the #3 this Friday August 26th, as the third round of the 2022 Global Series kicks off at 16.00 (GMT +2). There, the twelve finalists will take on two tracks that are classics on the current MotoGP™ calendar: Race 1 takes place at the Circuit of Jerez – Angel Nieto, the home of the Spanish Grand Prix while Race 2 will be held at the Red Bull Ring, located high in the spectacular Austrian Alps.

The action-packed show that includes the fifth and sixth races of this year’s series gets underway on Friday August 26th at 16.00 (GMT +2) with Jack Appleyard and Jack Gorst hosting and providing the commentary.
