As usual the competition was fast and frenetic as young gamers took Fabio Quartararo’s Petronas SRT Yamaha around Assen as they sought to climb the regional leaderboards in the WINDTRE Rising Stars Series.
A new initiative for 2020, the first stage of this new talent-spotting initiative consists of four Online Challenges in which Gamers are divided into three categories, depending on their location. These three are the Americas (North and South), Europe and Africa, and finally Asia and Oceania.
Based on these times, gamers are awarded points depending on their position in the final classification. At the end of the fourth and final Online Challenge, the eleven players from each region will be classified for the Online Regional Finals.
The fastest time in the second WINDTRE Rising Stars Online Challenge is for “Vindex813” from Itlay on PC with a laptime of 1’’26.890.
The Italian young star, who finished in 16th place in this year's Pro Draft, is currently the reserve rider of Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP for 2020 Global Series Rounds.
The classifications below show who lapped the brilliantly fast, flowing Assen circuit quickest with MotoGP podium finisher Fabio Quartararo’s Petronas SRT Yamaha M1.
