The second Online Challenge of the 2021 MotoGP™ eSport Championship is in progress and coincides with the first round of the new MotoGP™ season, as gamers take on the fast, flowing Losail International Circuit.
The track’s layout – a mix of fast, long bends and short, sharp braking areas – makes it a rider’s favourite as well as one of the more challenging venues on the calendar.
The need to have a bike that brakes well for the terrifying run to turn one, as well as maintaining agility for the rapid turns 12, 13 and 14 is crucial for those looking to post an early score on the Pro Draft leaderboard. The Challenge runs until Sunday 28th March.
And if you’re struggling to set a competitive time, take the advice of Williams_Cristian onboard as he talks you through the ideal set-up for this track using Joan Mir’s Ecstar Suzuki GSX-RR. The Spaniard has a tonne of experience using this machine, and has finished second and third in the past two Global Series events when competing with the Japanese factory, scoring two pole positions and three wins in the process.
So who better to listen to when it comes to suspension set-up, ride height and the ideal gearing for the Losail International Circuit’s varied 16 corners.
