Following two enthralling challenges in this year’s MotoGP™ eSport Championship, the third challenge will see gamers competing at the stunning Losail International Circuit in Qatar – our only night event of Championship. Not only is the 5.4km circuit a mixture of fast-and-flowing and technical sections, but this time you’ll need to tame Aleix Espargaro’s Aprilia RS-GP in order to be at the top of the timesheets.
The first two challenges have seen finalists from last year’s Championship progressing through already, as well as some new faces at the sharp end. In 2018, you will jump straight onto premier class machinery and have full ability to modify the bike’s setup, meaning that it could be the rider who is able to adapt the setup best to their riding style setting the quickest lap time.
Of course, Simulation settings for the Challenge are set to Pro and other riding aids on MotoGP18™ such as auto braking, joint brakes, steering aids and automated tuck-in are disabled. Soft compound tyres are available, although tyre wear is switched off, so you can set as many laps as you like without losing performance from the rubber.
The three quickest competitors on Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will move forward to Semi Final 1, which takes place live and on-location at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli during the MotoGP™ event between the 7th – 9th September.
