Controllers at the ready! The first Online Challenge is here!

And it’s worth: Each gamer that posts a single lap will be entered into a draw to win tickets for certain MotoGP™ races through the 2025 season!

The renowned MotoGP™ eSport Championship bursts into life this week, with gamers from all over the world taking part in the first Online Challenge of the Pro Draft, which starts at 11am CET on Wednesday 2nd July.

Back for an ninth successive year, the MotoGP™ eSport Championship will be decided by eleven of the world’s fastest gamers competing in the Global Series. But before then they must progress through the Pro Draft, a series of four time-attacks in the form of Online Challenges.

The first Online Challenge of 2025 packs a punch as well: MotoGP™ eSport fans voted for the circuit and rider to use in this challenge!

And the people decided that Indonesia’s Pertamina Mandalika Circuit will be the venue of Online Challenge #1. And French hero Johann Zarco (LCR Honda) will be the rider used to set the fastest time possible.

This will be a time-attack challenge, meaning only the fastest lap will be recorded. Unlimited attempts are allowed. Gamers will have five days to set their personal best times as the first Online Challenge closes at 7pm on Sunday 6th July.

Points will be awarded for setting the fastest times in each Online Challenge. Like the points scoring system in the MotoGP™ World Championship, the fastest gamer will gain 25 points, the second 20 points, the third 16 and so on.

The goal is to catch the eye of a current MotoGP™ team during the Pro Draft with your speed, consistency and race craft to secure a place with one of them in the Global Series!
