It’s time for the first Semi Final of the season where the 12 fastest players on each platform from Challenges 1 – 4 prepare to go head to head at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. Are you ready? Only six can go through and the clock is counting down, with the event broadcast live from 18:30 (GMT +2) on Friday 7th September!
The 4.2km Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli has six left- and 10 right-handers, and is set close to the glittering blue of the Adriatic coast. With some stunning run off designs, the track is a burst of colour even before it reaches full capacity on race day and the 60,000-strong crowd piles in.
On Thursday a ten minutes Free Practice at the venue will allow gamers to get a taste of the awesome track, and it will also give them the chance to choose the team they wish to represent in the race according to their laptimes. The fastest chooses first!
On Friday at 18.30 (GMT+2) a 1 hour show will be broadcasted live worldwide across MotoGP eSport Chanels (Twitch, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter) plus motogp.com and key MotoGP Broadcasters. This program, among other surprises, will include a 10 minutes Qualifying session plus a 10 laps race.
Played on Lenovo Legion PCs, each gamer will choose their favourite gamepad – PS4, Xbox one or PC – and the top six competitors will be those moving through to the Grand Final, which is held in Valencia on 16th November alongside the MotoGP™ season finale.
