The eighth running of the MotoGP™ eSport Championship kicks off this week, with gamers from around the world pushing to set personal best lap times at the fast, technical Motorland Aragon Circuit.
Just like the 2024 MotoGP™ World Championship, the track situated in the Spanish desert will host a major event on the Esport calendar: the first Online Challenge of the 2024 Pro Draft. And what better machine to take to the limits around Motorland Aragon than the bike which finished on the podium at this event when MotoGP™ last visited this track in 2022: Aprilia Racing’s RS-GP.
And what better person to give you advice on how to get the best from your machine than Maverick Viñales, a double Sprint and MotoGP™ race victor this year. The former Moto3™ World Champion – and Aprilia – count this as one of his favourite tracks.
Smooth throttle control and maintaining a flow of high corner speed through the number of fast turns are all tips the 29-year old shares.
The first Online Challenge of 2024 starts on Wednesday 28th August and runs until Sunday 1st September. So, now’s the time to take this advice on board before picking up your controller!
