The first Online Challenge of this year’s MotoGP™ eSport Championship packed a punch. After four days of intense competition, look and see how gamers from Europe and the Rest of the World fared when using Dani Pedrosa’s 2007 Honda RC212V around Laguna Seca to set the fastest time possible.
Of the thousands of attempts posted last weekend, it was two-time MotoGP™ eSport champion Trastevere73 who set the fastest time of all, an incredible 1'16:352 using PC. The Italian has certainly started this year like he means business.
When competing in each Online Challenge, gamers will be classified in one of two categories: those from Europe and those from the Rest of the World. The gamers setting the fastest times will be awarded points.
At the end of the fourth and final Online Challenge the 16 gamers with the most points in the European classification, the six from the Rest of the World classification, and the three winners of last year’s Rising Stars Series will make up the 25 riders that qualify for the Draft Selection with 11 of those guaranteed a spot in the Global Series!
