The Grand Final of the 2018 MotoGP™ eSport Championship is upon us, and soon we'll see another incredible contest and crown the 2018 Champion! 12 qualifying players from Semi-Finals 1 and 2 are ready to fight it out and gets underway for the final time this season at Valencia on Friday at 18:30 (GMT +1).
The MotoGP™ eSport Championship is bigger and better than before in 2018, with even more challenges at even more tracks to decide those who faced off in the two Semi-Final events – the first one that took place at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, and the second and final shot for the hopefuls that lit up the Movistar eSports Center in Madrid. Now we have our final graduates decided and there are 12 players set to fight it out alongside the season closer for MotoGP™, with plenty of incredible prizes to play for – including a BMW M240i!
The players are CRISTIANMM17 competing in Repsol Honda Team colours, ANDREWZH at Movistar Yamaha MotoGP, PAUL_IG7 on a Monster Yamaha Tech 3 machine, LUIGI48GP at Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, XXBOMBER_45XX riding the Team Suzuki Ecstar bike, TIMOTHYMCGARDEN61 at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, DAVIDEGALLINA23 in the Ángel Nieto Team, ADRIAAN_26 in Alma Pramac Racing colours, VINDEX813 at LCR Honda, ELEGHOST555 with EG 0,0 Marc VDS, RLLORCA26 on a Reale Avintia Racing machine and reigning Champion TRASTEVERE73, who's at the Ducati Team once again. Can he recreate his 2017 glory?
The Grand Final deciding who amongst them will be Champion is an hour and a half broadcast including 10 minutes of qualifying before the 10-lap race, and they’ll be competing on Lenovo Legion PCs for the event. There will be a couple of special guests on hand too, including five-time World Champion Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team), who will present the polesitter with their TISSOT watch, and a very special guest as an official co-commentator: newly crowned MotoGP™ Champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team).
So where can you watch? There will be extensive TV and digital coverage of the showdown, with Movistar MotoGP and Movistar eSports for Spain - and Movistar eSports will also show the Semi-Final on YouTube. Fox Sports Australia and Sky New Zealand - the latter on SKY Sport channels and online platforms SkyGO and Fanpass - provide coverage in Oceania, Indonesia can further indulge their incredible passion for two-wheeled competition with coverage on Trans7, beIN Sports provide coverage in the US and Canada and ESPN will broadcast across Latin America with the exception of Brazil. It's all on OSN in the Middle East & North Africa, Sport 5 in Israel and Fox Sports in Asia. Sony broadcast in India on their SonyLIV platform, and MTV3 will broadcast in Finland on both their Digital Platforms and TV. SwissTV RTS show the Grand Final in Switzerland and SKY Italy will broadcast the event in Italy.
