The second Online Challenge of the 2022 MotoGP™ eSport Championship in underway and it sure packs a punch, as contenders from around the world take on the fast, flowing and undulating Donington Park Circuit.
The legendary MotoGP™ track, which hosted the British Grand Prix from 1987 to 2010 is a track of two halves: a fast, flowing first half before the second which favours total braking precision!
A bike that turns beautifully at 120mph on the terrifying run down through the Craner Curves as well as maintaining stability under heavy braking for the Melbourne Loop is a must! Finding that balance is crucial to set a lap time that will see you make your mark on the Pro Draft leaderboard.
And if you’re struggling to set a competitive time, listen to the advice of MotoGP™ eSport veteran MrTftw as he talks you through the ideal set-up for this track using Mick Doohan’s 1994 Honda NSR500. The Australian is well placed to hand out advice, after he put in a series of quietly impressive showings in last year’s Global Series.
So who better to listen to when it comes to suspension set-up, ride height and the ideal gearing for the Donington Park?
