The 2023 MotoGP™ eSport finale has just been given a further injection of excitement.
As well as guaranteed red-hot competition (just 22 points cover the first four contenders) and an exciting venue (Ubeat Live Festival in Barcelona), the fourth and final round of the Global Series will have a very special guest: Dani Pedrosa!
All week, we dropped clues on our social media channels hinting at who the special guest would be, with some MotoGP™ eSport fans guessing it could be fellow MotoGP™ Legends Valentino Rossi or Jorge Lorenzo.
Instead, it’s the three-time World Champion, 31-time MotoGP™ race winner, and MotoGP™ Legend, who has shown in 2023 that he is still as fearsome a competitor as he always was. Pedrosa finished a stunning seventh at this year’s Spanish GP – his first racing appearance since 2021! – and an even more impressive fourth at the San Marino GP when wildcarding for KTM.
In his capacity this year as pundit for Spanish MotoGP™ broadcaster DAZN, Pedrosa has shown himself to be a formidable analyst and a natural in front of the cameras and behind the mike. His incisive comments have won acclaim from fans across the country.
At the MotoGP™ eSport Global Series final on November 11th, Pedrosa will be on hand to offer his thoughts on all the action while commentating alongside Jack Gorst and Kiko Giles, as well as presenting the prizes to the victorious gamers once the races are completed.
It’s just one of many reasons to tune into the event, with fans able to watch all the action on motogp.com and esport.motogp.com, on selected TV broadcasters, and across social media platforms including YouTube (via the MotoGP™ and MotoGP™ eSport channels), MotoGP™ eSport Twitter, Instagram, Facebook (via MotoGP™ and MotoGP™ eSport pages) and Twitch via MotoGP™ and MotoGP™ eSport.
And if you’re in Barcelona on November 11th, you can attend the Ubeat Live Festival and see the event up close. Tickets are still available at here and fans of MotoGP™ can use the code LIVEMOTOGP to get a special discount.
As well as the final, there will be a space in the Fan Zone of the festival where many items of MotoGP™ memorabilia will be present to delight the fans in attendance. The various items include certain MotoGP™ bikes, a BMW safety car, helmets, boots and leathers worn by current MotoGP™ stars, as well as simulators on which fans can test their own skills on the official MotoGP™23 Videogame from videogame developer, publisher and longstanding partner Milestone.
Who will become the 2023 MotoGP™ eSport Champion? Tune in on November 11th at 15.30 (GMT+1) to watch the final live!
